Hey everyone!!!! It’s been a little a while since I have been able to update my blog. There was a little confusion with everything so I apologize!
Well let me start off with Washougal. I had a few bad races in a row and was feeling a little down on myself. It was time for me to get things turned around. Saturday practice I felt pretty good right off the bat so I was pretty excited for the race on Sunday. Sunday morning it looked like we were going to have a repeat of Unidilla (MUD) but as usual the morning rain in the state of Washington cleared away and the track was looking good. Moto 1 got underway and I found myself around 16th position. I put my head down as was able to put together a 6th place ride. I was pretty happy with that considering the poor start. I was feeling good going into moto 2. Moto 2 I got a much better start and found myself around 6th or 7th. I rode hard the whole race and felt like I had a good pace going and was feeling fresh on the bike. Right past the halfway mark I got gapped a little by the group that was in sight. I keept pushing to the checkers and again ended up 6th. 6/6 for 6th overall. Overall I felt it was a positive weekend and was looking forward to the three week break.
I am now in the second week of our break and I am ready to race again. It is nice to have a little break and be able to push it a little harder and not have to worry about being worn out for the weekend. I feel as if I have made some progress and I am super excited for Millville. I really enjoy the track and look forward to racing there. My dad is coming out for the race and I am pretty excited. I don’t get to see him near as much as I used to so it will be cool to be back at the track with him.
Hopefully I will see some of you there and for those of you that won’t be there I will update my blog and let you know how it went.

Last time I saw your dad I was schooling him at ping pong.
Tell him I said hi. Congrats on your season so far. Keep it up. We’ll have to plan another houseboat trip, minus the drama this time. Late.
